“Mani Punkti” (hereinafter — we) values your trust and protects your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. What data do we collect?
To run loyalty programmes, we process the following (depending on how you use the platform):
- Identification data: full name you enter when creating an account (usually one field — first and last name together if you enter them that way); a system-generated unique member code (for QR codes and identification); optionally a profile photo if you upload one.
- Contact data: email address (required for a basic account); phone number — only if you provide it or link it to your account (for example for verification), since it is not required in the basic web registration form.
- Loyalty data: points, transaction history, stamp-card progress, reward requests/redemptions, vouchers, and similar programme history; analytics records may also include purchase amount and currency if shop staff enter them when issuing points.
- Account settings: language, time zone, currency, marketing email consent, and other profile fields you choose to fill in.
- Technical and usage data: sessions and cookies so the site and account work; partner analytics records about events (for example card views, point issuance), often with site language; a full IP address is not stored in the loyalty analytics table, but it may appear in standard server or security logs at the hosting provider, as is usual for web services.
2. Why do we process your data?
We use your information to:
- create and maintain your loyalty cards;
- calculate and award your points and rewards correctly;
- inform you of important news or changes (where you have agreed);
- provide technical support and security.
3. Who can see your data?
Your privacy is a priority. Access is as follows:
- Business owners: only for programmes you have joined. They see your name and email to provide the service.
- Our technical team: only to the extent needed to maintain the system.
- Shop staff: during a transaction (for example QR scanning) they see your name, member identification code, and, if the business enables it, loyalty tier and similar programme information; email is not shown to staff.
We do not sell your data to third parties. For technical delivery (hosting, email, payment infrastructure for businesses, etc.) we may use processors under contract — that is not a sale of data.
Payment card data is generally not stored in your loyalty member account; where payments are processed, that is handled by the relevant payment providers under their terms.
4. Storage and security
Your data is kept in a secure server environment with access controls and encrypted transmission over the network (HTTPS). We keep your data while your account is active or as required by law.
5. Your rights
You stay in control of your data:
- Access and correction: you can update your information in profile settings at any time.
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”): you can request deletion of your account and related data.
- Withdraw consent: you can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
6. Cookies
We use cookies so the website works smoothly and so we can understand how users interact with content. Some analytics (for example linking view statistics to a specific member) is enabled only if you accept cookies as described in the site notice. You can manage cookies in your browser.
